Great thread, so motivating! Can't wait to hear more from you!! Yesterday was LIW for me, and today I'm .6 under that! Kinda thinking I might get a bit of a cushion going into P3. I'm excited, but still anxious for Halloween Load and Round 2!! |

Champster is a perfect name! How much are you planning on losing this first round? I've heard rumors that the more you go over 34 lbs a round, the harder it is to stabilize....not wanting to rain on your parade, just verifying that you are aware of the risks! I'm off to check out your new pic! |

I am down 48 pounds and stablized really well this round. I am .5 under LIW and have been in P4 for a week or so. I am planning on starting my 5th and FINAL round Sept. 25th. I have gone from a size 18 to a size 6-8, and the 8's are rapidly beginning to be too baggy.... I have gone off of insulin and my A1C is under 6.... Life is GREAT!!!

I am down 19.5 lbs since the end of May - - currently R2P2VLCD18 and am 112 (2 lbs from goal!). I didn't think I had 20 lbs to lose and I am feeling/looking great, so this is SO exciting! I have been "shopping" in the back of my closet and even my teen daughters closet! It sure feels good not to have to hide my muffin top anymore. I only have a small belly left and jeans hid it - - I had two kids and a hysterectomy, so it might not completely disappear, but sure is easier to squish these days

Gonna have to wait on the pic 'til I hit 40 lbs! Hopefully by the weekend! No rain on my parade, I hadn't heard that info so excellent to know. When you say stabilize, are you talking about in P2 or going into P3? I've slowed down quite a bit and only losing less than a pound a day, yesterday was a big day of 1.5 lbs. Since I have a few more weeks I'm hoping to lose about 15 to 20 more lbs. That would give me a total loss of about almost 50 lbs. I've lost more than 28 pounds in two months. If you'd told me in June this was possible, I would have thought you were smoking something funny. I bought a pair of pants just a few days ago that are too big now. Amazing. |

Woo! Great job everybody!
I'm just starting out, and I've gotta say that I freaked out when I gained 6 pounds during load. But, as of today, VLCD5, I'm within .2 of my pre-loading weight. 6 pounds in 5 days is pretty bad-ass, even if I do say so myself. Once the sugar withdrawal headache clears, I'm really looking forward to the rest of P2, and I'm getting confident I can do it! |
