Anything that's white, you can slowly incorporate the whole-grain kind as an alternative. By slowly, I mean that maybe at the moment you can't stand the taste of 100% whole grain bread, but there's always 60% - or maybe you hate whole grain bread but don't mind whole grain english muffins, or rice, or pasta.

As for snacks, cut back on junk slowly while incorporating fresh fruits and veggies. If you hate veggies, start with fruits and slowely add veggies here and there.

If you're a sauce person, use a little less. Same goes for spreads... don't expect to cut things out, but by reducing the amount slowly you become accustomed the actual flavour of the food instead of the stuff you add to it.

Re: drinks, start drinking diet and eventually flavoured water, and then incorporate plain water (or with a lemon slice).

If you love fast food, start going for a pita instead of a burger. They're great, full of veggies, and if you like meat there are plenty kinds that are fresh to choose from. If you crave fast food, buy only the specific thing you are craving instead of the meal, instead of upsizing, etc.

As for sugary snacks, Jello has chocolate puddings with only 60 calories each. Nuts are great. Rice puffs are good too if you like that sorta thing. As for me, I eat well throughout the week and have one "cheat day" where I can treat myself --- so I usually have a few chips on that day.

Anyways, there's so much more that can be said but I need to get to work! Good luck.

Fat free milk is also idea. I'm little bit concerned about the skimmed milk. Actually, it is a suspension (solution)
in water. But in intestines and veins it retains its solid side effects. It can be stuck in vein pipes and
can cause some sort of stroke. But only if used excessively.
