Hi mouse-chaser. Do you mean fat build up in arteries? You could eat foods that are high in omega 3 (like salmon) since they are good for the heart. You could also try almonds, oatmeal, flaxseed, berries and apples. All of these are healthy foods for the heart but I'm not sure if it helps reduce fat build up. You could ask your doctor if you could eat them just to be sure. =D

Pineapple actually increases blood flow to the heart and helps lower cholesterol. We all know that high cholesterol lead to fat deposits in blood and arteries so by eating pineapple, it helps reduce that risk. It also helps prevent blood clots and keep plaque from forming in the arteries.

If you're talking about reducing blood clots in your arteries, high fiber foods, low cholesterol foods actually prevents that from happening. Foods like garlic, ginger and onions also helps reduce risks of blood clot formation. I hope that helps.
