Tea is packed with one specific kind of antioxidant - polyphenols. Compared to both vegetables and fruits, tea has 8 to 10 times more polyphenols. Catechins, a flavanoid and antioxidant, holds the key to the health benefits of drinking tea. Because tea is made through steeping, the longer you steep the tea, the more catechins are released and the more benefits to your body.
I love green tea and I make sure that I have enough intake everyday. It really makes me stay thin and a healthy way of having a clear skin ![]() |

It's advisable to drink plenty of water when you're drinking tea. I heard that caffeine is a duiretic too which causes our body to flush more fluids and cause dehydration. However, I've also read some articles that says its duiretic effects is minimal just like water. Anyway, let's just drink plenty of water just to be sure. It won't hurt if we did. =D
