Default Does cooking something change the nutrition facts?
Say that I got some chicken and the nutrition facts said that it has 12g of fat. When I cook it does some of the fat get cooked off or is this how many grams are in it when it's cook? Does anything else go down or up (protein, carbs, etc)?

yes some of the fat does get cooked off, but the protein mostly stays there, now it may not be in the same form as uncooked meat but its there and is good for you. its only bad when you over cook something such as vegetables when you over cook them you maybe losing some of the helpful vitamins in them and other good nutrients.
