Default Taste buds and healthy food?
I hate healthy food, besides fruit. But I've made a vow to myself to change the way I eat this year, and have been very successful so far. (4 days- ha) I used to always eat white bread, but switched several YEARS ago to wheat. I hated it at first, but now, over the years, I LIKE it and HATE white bread. I was just curious if this is true for all foods I dislike. If I keep eating them, will I always hate them, or will I grow to actually LIKE it? How long will it take?

Well, in my study of taste buds I learned about a scientist's research. He said that if you eat a food that you don't like ten times, you'll learn to like it. I tried eating spinach those 10 times and it didn't help me. But when I ate a larger portion of spinach 10 more times I did like it!!!! It was amazing. My mom was very proud of me. Now, I eat spinach about once a week and don't mind. You really have to set your mind to it and you will learn to like it.
Hint: If you want to learn to like 2 or more foods, only do one at a time.
hope I helped =)

If you have sensory integration dysfunction then it will be more difficult to change your pallet. There are foods that I just can not tollerate regardless of how many times I have tried them.
