Default Method of Administration changes mid-cycle
I read the thread about the Patch, which was pretty interesting. I am doing the SQ injections (which have been much easier than I feared). and have no issues with them. I also am hoping that this will be my only round, so this is really more for curiosity than anything (but the best laid plans of mice and men, etc.).

Is it possible to change mid-cycle for a few days, in order to ease administration? I can see where a patch would be SO much more convenient for traveling, of which I do a lot of air travel. So can a dieter start with injections, use patches for a few days, and then resume the injections when he/she returns home?

No you should not jump around like that. Patches are homeopathic so if you are making a change from the RX you need to take BOTH for 2 days then switch. They work differently. I'd stick with the shots.

That makes sense. Hopefully, I will be at home for the next 3 weeks, so I won't be thinking about convenience much. I have to admit the shots are less of a hassle than I feared, and now I am thinking that the drops would be more of a pain than the shots!

I'd love to hear feedback from anyone who has changed methods during a P2 cycle...I've got travel coming up as well and won't be able to take my RX hcg/needles on flights...

I was worried about flying to Canada last week with shots and refrigeration and all that, especially since I don't have an actual written prescription in my possession. I only needed 2 syringes while I was gone, so I loaded them up prior to my flight, wrapped them in alum foil (trying to sneakily hide the needle from x-ray machine), then in bubble wrap, and then put them in a ziploc bag with a frozen lunchbox thingie, and then into a zipper cosmetic bag with a few alcohol pads. i tucked it in my checked luggage, and it seemed to have made it through Customs and screening ok. Grammy said she felt that they would be fine without further refrigeration.

A few other people chimed in on that thread and said that they had never had issues as a carry-on, but I was checking luggage anyway, so just went that route.
