Hi All,
I have just bought a Brita Water filter thingie following some advice by Tril and a few others about drinking water. To be honest I never drank any water at all. I drank 4 litres of Diet Soda (I think this is the american term?) we just call it Pepsi Max. I believed that because this was zero carbs, zero sugar etc. that I could guzzle this and it would do the job! Was I wrong? Just how important is drinking loads of water to a low carb diet? I am drinking about 8/10 pints of pure filtered water a day and aim to STOP the diet soda and coffee immediately! Will I see much improvement? I am also now running every day, not to lose weight but because I love running and want to get fit for re-enlistment into the military. Thanks! Gary |
