Hi all....
I am back after a lenghty absence and angry with myself for really falling off the wagon. About 3 years ago I lost 25 pounds on Atkins and I maintained my weight loss for 2 years. Then I got too confident and as the pounds creeped back on I made attempts to lose them again, but they were half hearted. I have had some health issues as well and this is what is happening now: - getting married in 58 days and I have to lose 15 pounds (which is totally feasible) - possibility that I have thyroid problems (which I will know for sure when I have some tests done next week) - NEED to get on and stay on the plan and am in need of a buddy or support system so I turn to you! I have been on and off these boards over the past few years, but I really need to be consistent and get it together. I am starting on Sunday but probably won't really be in induction until Wednesday because I have to have a glucose tolerance test on Tuesday and have to drink lots of sugar! I have to do this and stick to it because I am tired of feeling yucky- and I never did when I was following the Atkins WOE! Happy Friday everyone- See you soon! Allison |
