I jog, brisk-walk, workout at least 3 times a week. My height and weigh - 5'9, 154lbs (1.7m, 70kg). I will eat junk food so long as I shed calories. The beach is 5mins walk from where I live and there is jogging track, cycling track, roller blading track and exercise stations along the whole stretch of the beach.

I'm not doing anything right now, but what I use to do to stay in shape was spend about 3 hours at the gym 2-3 days a week. I would do full body work out. I did that for 8 months and was in amazing shape. It didn't require me to watch what I ate either, in fact I had to eat more.

Outside of cutting out soda & sugar I have nothing to add. Except that I should exercise more.

Drink lots of water..... particularly at mealtime.

Don't shop on an empty stomach..... I'm sure we've all heard that one. But it is definitely true. When I'm hungry... the basket gains weight.

Lots of protein; never sit at a meal longer than thirty minutes- unless it's like a five course at a fancy place; if you think you are hungry and it's not meal time, drink some water; drink water before you eat anyhow- it fills you up; always wait fifteen minutes before getting up and getting seconds- you may feel full if you wait.

You don't have to run either- if you walk on the treadmill at a high incline at 2.5 mph, you work just as hard as running on a flat surface at 5.0- and you'll probably last longer!

I forgot this in here. I put it somewhere else, but when you go out to eat, somewhere like Chili's or Applebee's, immediately box up half your food. It's more than two servings on the plate anyhow.

Eat an apple an hour or so before your meal and you won't feel the need to eat as much. Also, slow down while you're eating and allow your body to feel you getting full.

I find heroin is a great appetite suppressant.

The one thing I do follow is drinking a LOT of water.

really i think food is an addiction - especially sweets

you have to want to be on a diet
you have to quit cold turkey and stay strong and you eventually don't even want it

but yeah keeping a food diary, counting calories and drinking water is really good
