It's another month... who's in??

Anyone can join... I just need your beginning weight and weight loss goal for the month of May!

This is the last month of spring... for most of us. After this it's SUMMER and we all know what that means. So... are you game?

I'm in. I've struggled to lose any for the last couple months but if I don't try, I'm afraid I will end up gaining. And who wants to do that when swim suit season is right around the corner?

Biggest challenges for May are a couple of catered business lunches and a long weekend at a resort at the end of the month.

Start: 147.5
Goal: 144.5

Went to the lake for a nice holiday and when I returned I realized that I left something behind. My motivation.

Have managed to stay in the 140's but still hovering around 4 pounds over my (May) goal: 148.5

Mothers day booted me out of ketosis. Been doing a low cal thing this week, while I was telling myself it was in the spirit of Atkins, it was definitely no longer induction. But at least I am trending in the right direction.

waaaah - i don't think i'm going to make it to 168 this month! i am hovering at 173,. which is my own fault for giving in to those satanic atkins bars on a week long "binge" - i call it a binge because i thought about them in my freezer, and had one (or 2 http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...on_redface.gif ) EVERY day last week (and into this week too). thank goodness they're gone! and cravings are gone too!

am back to being "clean", and tracking on fitday today and for a few days to get myself back on track, but i'm thinking that next month will be better for me http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...icon_smile.gif http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...icon_smile.gif

anyway, in other news, i have lost some size off my thighs! and my hips - more off my hips - from last months. i'd measured the other day and thought it wsa the same, but when i looked in my fitday journal i saw that no, i have actually lost 3/4 inch off my hips this last month! well, that's happy!

Glad to hear the bars are gone and you've... um... learned that lesson. LOL

thanks Tril - i know - i was a bit shocked myself! but - i mean, my hips are like 43 3/4 inches, so there's a way to go yet! ha ha - ah well, when i was early twenties, my hips were 48 inches, and i went low carb (just winged it on my own) and i got down to 44 inches...i wasn't upset by that and felt pretty good. imagine my surprise this am when i measured LESS than that! i thought my last m-ment taken was 44 in april, but when i looked, it was 44 1/2 (yay!)

anyway, my pants can be taken off without undoing them, so i'm about to go and see if i can find some cheap "transition" jeans... http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...icon_smile.gif

i am looking forward to next month's challenge - this month was a bust for me weight-wise...but i am happy anyway!

I've made it to my May goal!!!!!
I'm 137lbs

Its been a little bit easier ths month because we've had some really nice weather and everyone is having BBQ's and also I don't eat that much when the weathers nice, I'm too busy sunbathing
