One Week Water Challenge (OWWC) - 4/27 to 5/3

Starting today, there will be a OWWC!!! Who can participate? EVERYONE! What do you do? DRINK WATER! How much? IT'S UP TO YOU! Really, how much you drink should depend on your body, your temperature where you live, your activity level, your body weight, your goals. The most popular guideline is 8 8oz glasses a day... 64 oz total. If you're metric, that's about 2 liters. For me, that's just 4 of my drinking glasses (my glass holds 16 oz.). What do I do? State your intent to participate. Then, at the end of the day post on this thread... tell us what your goal was, tell us how much you drank. Then, if you want you can say how many days so far that you've met your goal. For example... I'm going to participate, so I will say: "Water goal for today: 64 oz, I drank 71 oz, goal met 1/7 days." Tomorrow I would say... goal met 2/7 days (if I make it). Do coffee, tea or diet drinks count? NO. This is a WATER challenge. Ok...my goal for this week is going to be 5 32oz water bottles a day...that's (hmmmm let me get the calculator out) 160 oz a day...a big goal - but I drink a lot and this stops me from drinking decaf coffee or soda! 4 down today already....1 to go! http://bestsmileys.com/drinking/12.gif |

My fault, Nina!!! I messed up the dates. Sorry about that.
I'm in, too... 64 oz is my goal. I've had 32 so far, sitting here with another 16 while I take a little break from painting, spackling (it has to dry before I can sand) and replacing door hardware (what a pain... now I know why I let dh do that stuff). Blue... this wasn't my idea, Helen and OliveOil came up with it. OO just asked me to set it up and give it it's own thread. I've met my goal today, too... 64 oz. I just took the last swallow. Since it's only a little after 6PM, I'm sure I'll get more later.
