Does cough/cold medicine cause weight gain? Because it says in the book that some medicines cause weight gain.

Most cough and cold medications (esp the liquid kind) are loaded with sugar. Just being sick can cause a temporary gain on the scale. Inflammation (a response to a virul infection) will cause a water weight gain. Do what you need to do to feel better and get better. Avoid medications with added sugar if you can... and remember, this is a temporary setback. It's not "real".
