Default Putting on a few lbs midweek
I have gotten into the awful habit of weighing myself every morning.

Up until today I've always had good news. This morning however, I seem to have put ON 2lbs since yesterday.

My common sense is telling me weight will go up and down naturally and I shouldn't be weighing myself every day but I must admit, it has thrown me into panic.

I didn't "cheat" at all yesterday, I was really good but for some stupid reason, I decided to make myself a protein shake at 9.30pm :x I used two scoops of powder, a large glass of soya milk, 2 tsps of splenda, a bit of heavy cream and some whipping cream.

Now, I assume this wasn't a great idea.

Could this be the 2lbs I see this morning?

I'm not on induction yet btw, starting that on monday.

I don't think I have any alergies but I am taking medication for constipation (it came on before I started atkins, always had trouble there) and that can cause water retention.

From Monday I'm going to put the scales away and ONLY get them out on a monday.

Wise idea...only count the weekly weighing...IF you weigh daily (I did and still do) I NEVER PANIC but take the scale as a health tool...ask myself, "Is anything different?" I KNOW if I am not "regular." I know if I ate late the night before...so I either (1) adjust or (2) ignore. Takes patience, an iron will, but life is long and you have lots of time.
