I'm in for both. My weigh in is 198.5 - I keep floundering and ending up back there. My goal weight for January is...um...okay...how about...195 (yikes - I said that out loud sorta). |

I'm starting induction (again!), can I play? :wink: CW:145,5 (66kg) GW: 135 (61kg) Do you think is too much to lose in one month? (I secretly wish to lose more than 10 pounds, but I'm aiming low to avoid any disappointment). Be strong!!! |

I would like in also...unfortunately i fell off the wagon big time over the holidays and am starting with a starting weight of 249. My goal for the month is to be down to 239 (at least)

SWB... you asked if I thought your goal was too much for one month. Depending on your age, activitiy level, height, recent dieting... it might or might not be. What's your goal weight? 10.5# a month is a lot for most people. Nearly impossible if you're close to goal already. You can leave you goal the way it is, or change it at any time (no rules here about that stuff!). If NOT reaching a goal might derail you, then change it. If having a lofty goal motivates, keep it. You'll just need to decide for yourself what will work best for YOU. Tril |
Hi all... I found this while perusing on the internet... I am definitely in need of joining a group like this!
I lost 50 lbs on Atkins about 5 years ago... but I fell of the bandwagon and put it all back on plus more. http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif So here I am, trying to do the right thing again. I'm having a hard time sticking to diet and exercise because I'm in a new living situation that isn't at all conducive to healthy habits. But I'm willing to give it my best shot. This is a start. It would probably be helpful if we all did this once a week or so (not helpful to ME, helpful to YOU). Wednesdays seem to be good (halfway between weekends). When you report a weight I'll add it to your stats. It will look like this: start weight/current weight/goal weight Final weigh-in is January 31st.
