Taji... I went and played around with fitday to see what you meant. It appears to me that fitday gives you the total carbohydrate grams at the top right... next to your list of daily foods you've eating. Down to the left of the pie chart you'll find your total fiber grams. At the end of the day you can subtract the fiber from the total for your net grams. During the day you can do the same... so you'll know how many you've eaten and what your choices are for the next meal/snack. If you're not sure about something.. add it to your menu before you eat it to see the total. You can always choose not to eat something and then delete it from your menu.

I was making custom foods for everything i eat and putting the info in off the food label or vege, meat as net carbs. Lastnight when i subtracted the fibre from carbs it only left me with 10 carbs, I think the flaxseed made it tricky in my calculations as its got more fibre than carbs.Im still struggling to get my calories up to 1500 so im paying special attention to food at the moment trying to get all the right components in my intake.
Thanks for the suggestion bri but i have just got the hang of this site so im gonna stick with it for awhile longer. Thanks again for the advice Tril Hopefully i get it right soon ![]() |
