Default omg! i cheated
I think it started by me waiting too long to eat lunch, but I cheated and ate some tortillas and spinach dip. But I didn't stop there, I felt like I would just give myself a free ticket to eat whatever I wanted for the rest of the day. Idk y I thought it was a good idea maybe bc I have been having these vivid cheating dreams at night of eating chocolate and ice cream. Omg I then binged on like ten mini pieces of chocolate- reese cups, snickersetc then I felt sick but I was determined to eat some medium mcdonalds french fries too. I got home and I felt so sleepy*l forgot how tired carbs make me! I woke up like 3 hrs later and stuffed myself with a lean cuisine pizza, apple juice and banana pudding cup. It wasn't even delicious. I feel so ashamed, I didn't really even have a reason to cheat and I don't know why I stuffed my face so badly. I guess all the temptations where subliminally growing inside till I broke down. I don't have a scale so I don't know how much weight I've gained. I'm going to restart induction today

Yes - I think it happens to most of us eventually.

I find my 3 biggest challenges are:

1) Waiting to long to eat - then I can end up where you were.

2) Not having the right food in the house - leads to #1, and right to where you were.

3) Combination of #1 and traveling - its hard enough to be low carb on the road - even harder if you wait until you are starving and then have the bread basket put down in front of you!

Keep your chin up! It happens. But you are making concious changes by #1 Accepting accountablility for what you did by posting here! and #2 Getting right back on induction. I am proud of you!

Maryanne,

Don't beat yourself up, just start over. Each time you think about cheating, remember how this experience made you feel. I haven't done this yet, but I have certainly felt like it, especially when the scale was slow to move. We learn and grow.

Blessings,

Shelia

When I go back home on vacation I plan to cheat. Sorry, too many classic dishes in my hometown. Jump back on induction and you'll be fine I'm sure.
