Hi everyone
Hope this is in the right place. I lost 5 stone on Atkins a few years back and felt and looked like person inside if that doesn't sounds too weird. Gave me the confidence to go to University at the age of 38 and I'm now in my final year. Problem is...student life has taken its toll and I've put back about 3 stone of the weight and I'm so unhappy! Has anyone here managed to achieve their goal for the second time? I did it alone with the book the first time, but so happy to see this Forum! I started back on Atkins two days ago. thanks x |

Welcome!! This is a great place. I am also just restarting this diet after being off for about 3 years. I pretty much gained it all back and am now working to get it off again, hopefully for the last time. Being here helped me last time around and I know it ill help me again this time. Just stick with it and you will get to your goal.

I'm not sure what day I'm on technically, I'll call it day 9. I don't think I've lost very much weight because of a few slips I've already had in induction. However I never punish myself anymore if I go a bit wayward and start back again the next morning. I think I've lost about 5lbs and my jeans feel much more comfortable already.
Will do a proper weigh in next Sunday. It's funny the slips are never through hunger, just habit. Onwards ![]() |
