Default stalls
Is it possible to have stalls if you are in ketosis?

YES!

There are many reasons why weight loss seems to stop. Sometimes your body is still getting smaller but the scale doesn't move.

If you're determining ketosis with ketostix you shouldn't rely on that entirely. Dietary fat will show up as ketones on the sticks... and that has nothing to do with your body using its own fat resulting in weight loss. You could also be in ketosis and be eating enough to balance your needs with your intake.

I do best when I'm SURE I'm not overeating carbs AND the stix are negative to the lightest shade of pink... that means that I'm using all/most of the ketones I'm producing. If I have no extra ketones, that means I'm not overeating fats, too. I tested this morning after 5 days of Induction (I went back to it) and the stix read totally negative for ketones. Yet I've lost 3# this week.

How long have you gone w/o losing anything Neylonas?

I am not actually experiencing a stall- it was more of a curiosity question. I have been eating a spoonful of peanut butter a day and am still losing so I just was wondering....

I knwo what you mean about the keto sticks- I just use them as a guage, but in general I rely more on the scale and my food diary!
