well thats whats so dissappointing
I weighed this morning 293 and weighed tonight and i am 5 pounds heavier... how is this possible? Is it water? I have been drinking tons of water all day well in 9 weeks I hope to to be around 263 or less I do not know if this is realistic.. the first time I did atkins I lost 35 pounds in my first month but I was younger so I do not know what is realistic anymore |

30# (even the first 30#) is a lot to lose in 9 weeks. That's about .48# per DAY, every day, for 63 days. Put that way, does it sound reasonable? Who knows, though... you might just do it! We can always adjust your goal later, when you have a better idea of how your body (and the holiday season) will do.

Here we go everybody! Tomorrow we begin the Holiday Challenge in the hopes of making THIS season one of improved health and (if we do this right) weight loss.

I still need the missing goals and I will need everyone's weight (if weight is part of your goal) tomorrow. Feel free to post a Tuesday or Thursday weight if life gets in the way... no pressure here, just some friendly public accountability. ![]() Each week I will start a new thread for everyone to report their weigh in on.
