I finally found where I wrote down my 10/29 weight. That was actually 167. I could only remember my Thursday weight when I sent you my stats. Not that it matters much. But since we are weighing in Wednesday, maybe you can update it? (It will make my first week look better ).

Hi Tril

I think my challenge should be revised to 8lbs. My weihgt loss is fairly slow. My sw was 226, current weight 204, goal weight 118-125 holiday goal weight is 196lbs. thanks for doing this hun.

Well since I'm out of whack with my weigh ins, I'll make my start weight my last weigh in which was yesterday.

81.1 kgs.

Goal is 70 or under.

Since I'm a day ahead, and it's Wednesday here now, my 05th Nov weigh in is 81.0 kgs.

well thats whats so dissappointing

I weighed this morning 293 and weighed tonight and i am 5 pounds heavier... how is this possible? Is it water? I have been drinking tons of water all day

well in 9 weeks I hope to to be around 263 or less

I do not know if this is realistic.. the first time I did atkins I lost 35 pounds in my first month but I was younger so I do not know what is realistic anymore

30# (even the first 30#) is a lot to lose in 9 weeks. That's about .48# per DAY, every day, for 63 days. Put that way, does it sound reasonable? Who knows, though... you might just do it! We can always adjust your goal later, when you have a better idea of how your body (and the holiday season) will do.

Well, first week's weight - 197.1 (under protest - I still think that scale's screwy - but I haven't had the chance to replace it yet) so up 1.8 lbs.

That's okay, I'm going after this challenge!!

Default Atkins Holiday Challenge Week ONE
Here we go everybody! Tomorrow we begin the Holiday Challenge in the hopes of making THIS season one of improved health and (if we do this right) weight loss.

Here are the people I have so far, and some of the goals for this challenge:

Feel free to post a Tuesday or Thursday weight if life gets in the way... no pressure here, just some friendly public accountability. Also, if at any time you decide to NOT weigh in one week (or more) just let me know. That decision is entirely up to you... we must all find what works best when self motivating.

Each week I will start a new thread for everyone to report their weigh in on. Once I hear from everyone (or within a day or two) I will post the results and announce that week's biggest loser. Feel free to discuss the challenge... including the week's issues, special challenges, NSV, etc. in the thread.

Looking forward to getting your goals and your starting weight tomorrow! I will be gone overnight but will post the new starting chart on Thursday night after I get home.
