It can have anything, peppers(of any color), onions, tomatoes, lamb, beef, fish, etc.

I'm not British but I'm pretty sure kebabs are pretty versatile.

Hi,

It's a donner Kebab, it would be plain with no sauces or bread

if you mean the type that the meat is carved off as it rotates on the spit - I read somewhere else that the meat is bulked out with fillers. I think its going to take further investigation to be sure.

I did a search and found that the kebab meat form the chippy is heavily spiced and made from a meat paste. Unfortunately, I coudln't find any other ingredients. I did find that it is high in fat but nothing about carbs. You may be able to get away with it. I'll let you know if I find out any more.

Stick with lamb shish, chicken shish or chicken doner rather than the processed lamb doner meat. Chili sauce, a bit of garlic sauce, all the toppings and you're set. Remember the pita is obviously only to be used as your bowl, toss it away when you're done eating the filling.
