Default Why do they never mention the vegetables?
Why do articles and television programmes never discuss the 'non-negotionable' nature of exercise or the fact we are told to eat veg, or that we should limit cheese, mayo, cream etc...? If they want to criticise low carb, fine. But at least criticise the proper diet and not some sensationalist version of it!

I like this though: http://lowcarbdiets.about.com/od/nut...arbpyramid.htm

I know what you mean. Heck, i didn't even realize how wrong i was doing the diet till i read the book, and I received a lot of criticism but cheese was at the bottom and middle of my pyramid cause I love it . I can only guess that it is so wildly criticized because of people like me who order cheese pizzas with all the meats, then eat only the toppings. I am now doing a jimmy johns version though (2-3 unwhiches a day) so I can get my veggies, I hate veggies, but not from JJ's for some reason , and your sandwiches from there can easily be made induction friendly if they aren't already.

I LOVE that food pyramid on the site though. I think that really sums up how the diet should be done, and its like 4 chapters all crammed into one picture I need to send that to anyone criticizing Atkins and see if they can argue against the natural, healthy, unprocessed recommendations that that chart represents. Thanks for the link!
