'atkins' products
 

Do many of you eat the Atkins producst that are available to buy? I see they even sell zero carb sweets and low carb breads (low carb bread?????).

Obviously it is best to eat fresh 'real' food - but are they a good prop and more importantly, do they taste any good?

Sometimes you have to have a bit of what you love, and just wondering if I should order some in.

Personally, I don't eat any of them. It just goes against my better judgement when I'm working on getting healthier by eliminating processed food... to buy MORE processed foods because the label says Atkins. Ya know? It's still processed... if I can't live without a piece of bread I will have a slice of all natural, whole grain, high fiber bread. And for me, it's just as convenient to grab a boiled egg and small cucumber to eat as it is a "bar" of some sort. I'm sure the egg and cuke taste better, too. lol

You'll have to decide for yourself if you want to eat them.

I found they are overpriced crutches that prevent you from not eating junkfood every day. I love chocolate bars of all kinds so I have gotten caught in the Endulge bar trap. It just makes it easier to buy the product they are supposed replacing when you can't get the Atkins ones.

Besides, they are sugar alcohol. Eat a bunch of them and learn just how much your digestive tract can revolt.

I use the shakes only, especially after a workout. I get them at BJs 12 for about $15.
