Yup - Atkins is not low fat... I don't even want to try to imagine the outcome of combining Alli with Atkins! http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...on_redface.gif in public probably sums it up

Atkins diet and Ali diet pill

Hi,

I am new to the Atkins diet. I recently have been doing a low fat/calorie diet and taking the Ali diet pill. Does anyone know what the affect the Ali diet pill has with the Atkins diet?

Thank you,

Tammy

OMG... do NOT mix the two!!! Ali is designed for a low fat diet. If you eat fat with Alli... http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/smilies/icon_eek.gif ....

Here, read this from the CBS website:

"The name has changed — and the over-the-counter version is one-half the strength of Xenical — but it's the same drug. And it has some of the same problematic side effects that plagued its prescription-strength predecessor — gas with oily discharge, inability to control bowel movements, oily or fatty stools, and oily spotting."

I'm glad you asked before you tried it!

Tril,

Thank you for your reply. I'm glad I asked too before I used it.

Tammy
