Pure spam should not contain sugar. Check the label for any sugar products like dextrose, corn syrup. etc. At 2 carbs per something there has got to be SOMETHING in there as pure meat is carb free and spices are negligable. Personally, nothing tastes better than meat you make yourself.
That being said, keto-stix don't lie. Monitor your ketone reaction to the meat (over the next 24 hours). All things being equal in your diet, if you stay purple your body may have a low resistence to that kind of carb and you are all right. 8) |

Heh, that's funny. I just had Spam for breakfast on Saturday with some eggs. It was not as good as I remember when camping...
Although my Ketones where still at an elevated level and I lost weight last week. So I guess it was OK. I think Spam makes some products that have flavoring that would likely contain some sort of sugar but I don't think that regular old spam has any sugar.
