Happy belated birthday!! Congrats on finding a healthier way to celebrate YOU.

I remember one year making my dad a big sf jello mold for his b'day... we inverted it on a plate, covered it with whipped cream and then put candles in it. lol It wasn't a cake, it was better! That was more than 30 years ago... my parents were on "The Drinking Man's Diet". It was my first exposure to eating low carb. I remember them counting out their peanuts to take to the mov-ies with them. I don't think we ate carrots, corn or peas for dinner the whole time I was in high school. And you know what?? That was the only time in my life that I was "naturally" thin... my last three years of HS.

Kinda got off the subject there... LOL

Thanks guys!!! I had an enjoyable birthday but I must admit that I did have alcohol last night but I went for the lower carb options and I ended up losing 3 lbs. That was a great birthday present!!!!

I have to say so far I am very proud of myself. Today is my birthday and I feel that I have the will power today to hang in there and not give in to temptations. It really stinks I can't have birthday cake but I am trying to learn not to reward with food....so I went and pampered myself today with a new outfit and a deluxe pedicure instead. I am happier with that.
