Stalled for so long...

Hello! I'm about 3 months into atkins, and this is my first time on it.

A couple concerns though... I'm 18 and only 5 feet, I started at about 150 lbs, after about 3 months, I have lost and went down to 130 lbs (super happy about it http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...on_biggrin.gif ) However, I've probably been at 130 for a month now and would be happy to lose about another 15 lbs http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/sm...n_confused.gif Does anyone have any suggestions to why I might have stalled this long? And yes, I am being really strict and drinking my water http://www.lowcarbsite.com/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Hey together4ever, sometimes people plateau and it sounds like you are definitely plateauing. Have you tried switching up your diet and exercise? Sometimes when you do the same thing you hit a plateau. You will find that since you are so close to your goal that it will come off slower. I have heard of people plateauing for months when they get that close. I know I will probably get some slack for this next comment, but maybe you should eat rather high carb for a day or so and see if that jump starts your metabolism. Some times we need a kickstart. You just have to be disciplined enough to get right back on track.

Good Luck!!!!
