Agreed. Someone taking in zero carbs is not doing Atkins.

You need about 20 carbs, mostly in the form of green leafy vegetables, every day, during induction. After induction, you'll add more, not take in less.

you might want to consult your doctor before continuing with the diet if you have had health problems in the past.

Your body needs carbs. Your diet is extreme. Why would you want to eliminate carbs? Have you consulted a professional about your extreme diet?

Default Induction Crash
I am on the 7th day of induction and yesterday and today I have been so wiped out that I deviated from the program this evening. I have followed the program closely with the exception I was closer to 0 carbs than 20 carbs per day for the first 6. I am a 75 yr old male, 295 pounds, and also have post-polio syndrome. I am not ambulatory and use wheel chairs and scooters for mobility. Any suggestions from anyone would be appreciated. I would like to continue on but if this condition persists I am not going to be able to tolerate it.

You should be closer to 20 carbs instead of 0 carbs. Drink at least 2 liters or water per day, and make sure you're following the rules of induction.
