Hi all,
Fairly new to this, but as a man...hey, giving it a try here. ![]() For the last couple of years, calories seem to be a big thing. Most men, from what I see should eat between 1500-2000 calories per day depending on exercise routine. Counting calories is easy, just look at the label. But, here is an couple of examples which can steer me in the right direction. Q1) Cheerios is Whole Grain where No Name Brand is Whole Grain Flour - same calories, etc, what is the difference? Q2) Two tins of Light Tuna - which one is better? 1. 60 calories per 1/2 cup, Fat 1%, Sodium 6% 2. 60 calories per 1/2 cup, Fat 0%, Sodium 8% Q3) Lunch or Supper time - 2 beef hotdogs 240 calories, Fat 29%, Sodium 43% Are these bad to eat? How many times per week recommended? Q4) Diet Softdrinks - 0 calories...I heard these are bad for you. Comments? thx, Kid |
