I heard a great saying from a very nice Bahamian lady the other day who is studying to be a nutritionist. She said that lifestyle changes must be made in order for people to stop digging their graves with their teeth. I thought it was very appropriate to some of the diets and foods I see people consuming daily. Last night on my news channel there was a medical report about how bacon, lunchmeats, hotdogs, some hamburgers, should be used as a treat, not as a staple to our diets, and the news people thought this was hilarious. They mocked the report and had a good laugh out of it. Sorry, folks, but more and more proof is coming our way that a big part of you is what you eat. |
