Admist my cravvings for milky coffee I got into my mind to search for low carbohydrate milk. It isnt easy to find in Australia apparently, well not at the supermarkets anyway.
Im not about to start drinking milk at least for a few more weeks as I know adhering to Atkin's diet principles is one of the surest ways to lose weight. However once Ive reached an acceptable weight range I would like to resume drinking coffee more regularly again. So I had a quick search and there is evidently a fairly wide market for this type of milk, still I could not readily find specifications as to how many carbohydrates are present in 100ml and 250ml. If anyone can provide a general estimation I would appreciate the information, thanks. |

3 carbs that sounds exactly like what I want
![]() BlueHex I have previously tried cream but until a few days ago would always add it in after the water, this tends to complicate achieving a smooth consistency. Some one of these boards mentioned mixing hot water and cream beforehand. I have just started doing that and it works like a charm. Im glad to say I have found a very workable solution. Would anyone know how many carbohydrates a large black no sugar tall 'white' from Gloria Jeans (my sp is all over the place..I blame the lack of carbohydrates) would typically have ? Hopefully none but they might sweeten their coffee beforehand. I intend to add cream or low-carb milk. |
