When you speak with spirits...
 

What is it like when you speak with spirits? How do you feel? Do they know you? Do you know them? Is it dreamlike or imagination daydream-like? Anything else you want to add?

I'm not quite sure but I think I may be becoming able to communicate with them, so I am trying to gather all I can.
Must be something with this recent "awakening."

For myself it is somewhat telepathic. Since I'm an empath, it's more of a feeling or just knowing and getting impressions. Nothing is ever audible, although sometimes I seem to "hear" words in my mind. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.png

Rich is right, everyone is different.

Some just know they are communicating but don't hear the words. Others can see them and hear them, etc.

For me I see them in my mind, like a memory. As if I am recalling an event, but it is much more clear than a memory if that makes sense. It can appear to me distorted, like through heat waves or like looking at someone underwater.

I hear them in my own voice in my head as well. I call upon my guides to work with spirit though, that is what your guides are for. Everyone of us can hear our own family and friends; we just never realized it before.
