Default The door opened
Thought I would share another experience. A good few years after my mum had passed I was asleep and something woke me. The bedroom door which is always closed, opened and a figure entered the room.It was my mum holding a book which I think was open followed by another shorter figure which I did not recognize. I experienced absolute tingling from the tips of my toes to the top of my head, and i froze, but funnily no fear. This all happened previous to me being a believer and wish now I could have spoken to her.

An amazing experience! If I were you I'd be dying to ask questions about it. Who was the shorter figure? What was the book your Mum was holding? What was she trying to let you know?

I wonder if meditation, or imagery, or other form of spiritual contact could reveal some of your answers even at this late date. You might look into it, maybe ask on this forum if someone with more experience than I have knows of a possible means to explore this.

Best wishes,

Blue Tiger

I am anxious to ask questions about this experience, but as I have only recently accepted spiritualism exists I have no idea on where to start. It was a bit of a shock to say the least when it happened therefore incapable of asking anything.

You still CAN speak to her She was showing you that she made it okay.

They hear us, we just don't always hear them! Ask for signs and pay close attention. She'll let you know.

Did you speak to her when she was living? Did you communicate to her then?

This should be much easier because you can have a one sided conversation for now lol . Being that I can hear my dad... he always puts in his 2 cents. :P

He passed in 2008...

Yes I spoke to her when she was with us on a regular basis. We were fortunate in that we could listen and support each other when events dictated the need for such. Now it is starting to make sense I speak to her as if she were on the phone. Gosh I feel so stupid. Thank you for that I feel so much better already.

hehe no problem! She's the same person. They KEEP their personality. The only thing missing is some of the negative human emotions. Like disappointment, lust, greed, ego. etc. They are not perfect mind you lol but they can help to guide us. My father still cusses like a sailor :P

He helped me unhook the trailer from his truck when my sister brought it down from Michigan. I had NO clue how and my sis had already flown back. So here I was looking pretty silly in the driveway...

"Dad.. ok now, what do I do ?"

I just let the thoughts come to me and I did what he was saying.

Funny enough I started to crank it (to raise it off the ball) and i hear "GET A BOARD!" He was always worried about ruining the asphalt on his driveway at home and even our BIKES had to have a board under them so they didn't sink into it. lol

Yep.. good ole dad!

How wonderful. When I am in a quandary I have without realising it called on granny, grandad, mum or dad. The penny has just dropped, thick or what?
