I went to sleep in a state of angst and anxiety, and somehow focused on the one person who most betrayed me in my life. Soon I saw with my astral eyes that I had opened some kind of tear in the air.

It looked like a series of rips, like fuzzy black lines of electric-magnetic-static hovering high in mid air above my bed. And I knew that on the other side of them was the person I was focused on.

Wherever she was, I knew the black lines were hovering above her also. I had torn a hole from me to her. Opened a channel.

With great force I called out her name and exactly what she did. Then screamed "God and all the Angels have heard me!" And suddenly I was surrounded by all this pink light. Some kind of entity was beside me. I guess it was probably an Angel. It wanted to communicate, but I was so upset at the time, I couldn't.

I've seen these rips and tears in the fabric of the universe before, but this is the first time I caught myself creating one. I just thought they showed up randomly and occasionally sucked me in. But I guess it makes sense if I am the one causing this, because I do usually land at somebodys house I had been wanting to see for whatever reason.

So- anyone else seen these things? They look like black wavey lines, one on top of the other. I think they're related (or can be related) to time travel. Because when I've seen them you can open a tear to the past or future.

Damn this post sounds sci-fi.

I have had one experience with the wavy lines you are talking about. I was meditating. I saw the lines and then began seeing what I imagined to be scenes from my future (or one of my futures ).

As long as I kept my thoughts cleared I could see the visions. But when I tried to ask a question or think about what I was seeing, I felt pulled back and my field of vision filled with the wavy lines once again.

This happened before I started consciously projecting so I had no idea what to make of it.

I don't see them the same way you do, Leyla. Mine are imaged as actual tears in walls or curtains in the astral environment I inhabit or just as an oval shaped hole if viewed hypnogogically/hypnopompically. If I've passed through one I can't remember the experience. It's only just occurred to me recently to do so, so now I'm waiting for the next opportunity.

The following information may interest you. It's not an explanation of your experience but it's worth considering

I am currently reading Kurt Leland's The Unanswered Question (in snatches). He has often experienced a place in the afterlife that he calls "The Holding Zone" (he believes that people interpret the same astral environments differently and they should, therefore, be named according to function). Anyway, before souls can move on to "Immigration" they must be purged of unresolved negative emotions (fear, anger, lust) that are sent back to physical reality. One way to do this is by using living beings, often family members, as "lightning rods." Usually during sleep, a person who is harbouring the same emotion will be selected and the emotion will be purged for the deceased person. The person has an unpleasant dream but it can be helpful to them in resolving the issue and releasing it.

Leland himself experienced the process several times. One time he went to bed angry because a friend he trusted had betrayed him. He found himself out of body with a large black dog approaching. It sat on his chest and he couldn't move. Suddenly there was a rift and a hooded being (he believes they appear hooded because they are beings of tremendous energy and conceal it so as not to overwhelm) appeared and allowed hoards of departed souls (shades) through. While the dog pinned him down, these souls began to dive into him. He was frightened, of course, but he noted the distinct traces of identity in each of these souls. After 8 had gone through, the hooded figure prevented anymore from doing so.

He said this could have been interpreted by another person as a demonic attack and attempted possession but understood that it was not so. He interpreted the dog as representative of loyalty issues. It was on his chest because he had to get it off his chest. The beings that "passed through him" were purging unresolved loyalty issues.

Beekeeper - That is really weird. I don't know quite what to make of Lelands interpritation. I'll have to think on that.

The other night I was talking to my girlfriend and while trying to get an idea accross to her regarding various prespectives on life or societies I had a mental image of the globe...or...a star chart or star globe in...4D? I cant really explain it otherwise...anyways...I was trying to explain to her what I saw i my head and with a simple hand gesture she saw it too. Its a topic she usually isnt in discussion over or thinkingon so it suprised me that the idea was so easy to get accross. Later we was walking into the bathroom and something brushed her ankle going down the hallway...I had seen a mental image of a eyeball sort of thing at the exact same time flying the exact same direction....we looked at each other anda sense of very unusual fear set in and I said something to her about a tear or rip in space and she said something about how we tore space or time or soemthing and "let something in"...now keep in mind this is a VERY abnormal topic for her so the responses she gave me was very unexpected....at the same time she had mentally had a visualization of a wormhole sort of shape.....any ideas? I recall saying "something is in the house" to myself....or to her...its hard to recall...all I know is we cant recreate our conversation to save our own souls....its all gone as far as memory goes. I wish i could...that 4d? shape was cool.
