Hi all,
Not sure if i am in the right place with this message, i have posted another in practise den.
Could you please help me, I am working in the practise den doing readings and I would like to know what you feel should be the context of a message.
I try to give confirmation of who is giving me the message, but I find that I don't get that until I am half way through the message, I have heard that you should give that first, then the message, so I thought I would ask here our others work.

Have you tried delivering the message and then pausing to ask whom is giving it?

Usually I can "sense" the previous physical body type of the spirit. But when I first started, I asked. "Who are you please? Can you give me clues as to your relationship with this person and verify to them in words or symbols of who you are?"

I don't usually get messages unless someone asks for a reading or if I'm talking face to face or on the phone with someone. Sometimes they will pop into my mind. Advice etc. I will say... hang on, spirit needs to say something to you. Really it doesn't matter to the person who said it, because usually it's exactly what they need to hear at the time.

More times than not, it's their guides delivering the messages that the sitter just can't seem to hear themselves or that they ignore and need to hear it from someone else Hope that helps

Thank you for the reply, I am asking who they are and I do try to give who I think it is, most of the time I get that bit wrong, still I will keep trying.

I find as you have said I just tend to get a message that the person seems to need at that time.

I live in Spain and I have a spiritualist church near by the owner of the church insist that when we give messages in the church we have to bring the communicator threw as prove of live after death.
she is saying a message is no good without evidence of who you have with you.
I personally feel that this is not correct but she is from what I would call the old school.
so I wanted to get other peoples opinion on this.

Hi Laura, I think this is all coming from the rules of the SNU in England. SNU insist you follow CERT .. communicator, evidence, reason, tie it all together... I got this anser from another post. I am not with the SNU and dont wish to be with them, but i would like your apinon on this.

I don’t like to ‘stick’ to any particular rules. I feel it keeps me stuck in the reality of it and having to prove myself let alone prove where the message is coming from. It causes to many distractions.

Free flowing is a term I like to use, meaning that I simply go with where I am and what is happening in the moment. And I try not to ask too many questions. I don’t know this to be a fact but it’s like it takes a lot of energy for these messages to be imparted and that kind of energy may be limited.

One or two specific questions seem to work best for me. And the information is usually more helpful than being over concerned about who it’s coming from. Usually it’s quite evident that it is someone close to the person asking the questions. And I can often describe the image I’m getting if not a specific name.

I can see how this is confusing. The UK has certain guidelines for spirit communication. Where as spirit doesn't. I suppose it's another way to "control" something that they have no control over.

My guides give me a ton of messages but would it really fit into the "CERT"? No, no one knows my guides, they cannot say "Oh yeah I know them!" My book is written by my guides and has helped so many people understand how our guides work, what it's like on the Other Side and so much more. Sometimes they named themselves "The Third Ray" "A Collective of Energies", but sometimes they didn't. I knew it wasn't from ME. I could have never "thought" of those messages, they came from the Other Side.

So don't sweat it unless you want to be associated with the "Medium" certification in England. Here, we don't have that sort of thing.

Thank you Laura that has made me feel allot better about myself and my readings.
I would love to read for you one day and you can tell me how I can improve myself, and who knows one day I might be as good as you, I will keep trying until I get what I feel is right for me.

Thanks for that Babes I'm good because I trust my guides 100%. Seriously I am only the messenger and none of it is mine. Sure, I just learned early how to hear them but everyone can. You are welcome to read for me, most people feel intimidated to do so lol. I do not block but I do have very strong boundaries and protection which I must "allow" others into.
