My Big TOE
I just started reading this book called My Big TOE, I am halfway through the first book out of the trilogy. What a facinating read! The author used to work with Robert Monroe. Has anyone else read these books? What do you think?
Nothing unusual has happened lately, except yesterday I was reaching for my cell phone and it moved about 1/2 inch away. I didn't think much of this, there could be some logical explanation....I guess! Spontaneous PK? I have a history of that. Hope everyone had a happy New Year! |

I've also read it all last year. Yes it is worth reading. My only criticism is that it is just ... TOO BIG (a TOE) .. I mean in book volume(s). I have the thick edition where all 3 parts are in one. If you have two of them they are the perfect weight lifts for body workout. I think he could have condensed it a bit, there are lots of repetitions and unnecessary excursions and by-texts. He gets down to the real thing only in part 3, to my view. Reading part 3 would thus have been enough to get (his different) overview.
here's a lecture worth watching: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxECb7zcQhQ |
I will be doing a joint interview with Tom Campbell for Red Ice Radio on the 25th January 2011. This is going to be a really fascinating interview as we both have BIG TOE's. Tom's is My Big "Grand Theory of Everything" and mine is termed the "Bohmian IMAX Grand Theory of Everything". Tom and I both deal with the physics behind Out-Of-Body Experiences and how quantum physics can be used to explain this phenomenon.
On April 10th 2010 I will then have a two hour interview with Tom on my web TV show The Peake Experience. In this Tom and I will spend an hour expanding upon our overlapping models on the nature of reality and then we will open up the lines for direct questions. This will of course focus in on some of the ideas that Robert and I will discuss on the same show this coming Saturday. In November 2010 I am then hoping to set up an open on-line and live discussion that will involve myself, Robert (Bruce), Tom Campbell, Robert Waggoner and Ian Wilson. For details regarding Tom and I's Red Ice Radio discussion please check out the following link: http://www.redicecreations.com/radio/nonsubscriber.php and click on "upcoming guests". The show is entitled "Reality and Consciousness". Tony |
WOW! That sounds awesome! I will have to check that out!
I am really enjoying Tom's book, but I find that he is doing a lot of building people up before he tells us his theory. I am more than halfway through his first book and he hasn't yet delved into his theory. I understand that he has to prepare the readers first, and help them let go of their limiting beleifs. But this is really the only problem I have with the book. Other than that I love it! I ecspecially love the part where he compares the birth of our reality to the birth of a baby, he says that from our point of veiw of being in this lower reality our beginning would seem mystical, but not from a higher reality it wouldn't. Just like to a baby being born would seem mystical to them because they can't comprehend something like that yet. When he described it like that it really made sense! Good luck with your interview, Can't wait to hear it! |
