Default Quitting Life...doing AP...
I can't live anymore, there is NO WAY that the average person lives like me...

- I now sleep 12-16 hours a day
- I fall asleep everywhere
- I feel drained everyday
- I can't live my life the way I want to live it
- I'm very unexpressive and can no longer do school...especially that profession since being expressive is important...

Now I'm resorting to just learning Astral Projection, seriously energy works is the only thing that actually keeps me stable. I feel a good feeling over my body, the constant slipping in and out of trance feeling. I had realized why I got addicted to all this, because I didn't have a care in the world. Even though I never actually projected.

I think I've posted before about doing a lot of AP, but I'm at a point where I have no choice. Yesterday was the first time I've done Energy Works, last time was about 3 months ago. I did it and feel into the best trance ever, I seriously wanted to die just to stay in that feeling. It reminded me as to why I actually loved AP, there wasn't a problem in the world. Just me cutting in and out of different realities, never really anywhere, never really having a clue what was going on, just feeling a great.

My normal life I've always tried to improve, I've been doing self-improvement for a long while but all it does is make me bitter and frustrated. I'm basically constantly fighting against my mind, which is a never ending battle.

If anybody has ANY advice on AP or just general help, please leave feedback. This is my last cry for help because I'm just at a point where I want to just AP and forget about life...

I never actually got to the point you're at, but I think I got close. Some years ago I was so excited about astral projection that I wanted to sleep even more hours out of the day so I could do it more. But I still wanted to have a good waking life. And I think I went along this way for a while, struggling to keep my waking life day together with fewer hours to do so, but having great dreams and astral experiences every night.

But I soon ran into a brick wall -- the body has to be tired in order for the best astral projection to occur! Even more importantly, I began to notice my astral experiences were starting to become "diluted," almost as if I was asking too much of my astral self.

These days, I try to stay as busy as I can during the day so that I'll be dead tired at night -- and I've been trying to only allow myself eight hours of sleep/dreaming. When I sleep more than that, the next night suffers badly and I'm lucky to even have one dream (and it's usually just a regular one at that).

Looks like great advice to me. I am slowly doing some energy work of late, I will also be adding meditation to this as of next week where I will attend a class along with my partner.

AE: Do you live a fairly quiet life? How many close friends do you have that you can express yourself more fully in order to gian some valuable feedback?

Personally, I'd prefer to live in a world where we all have a common frame of reference in order that we can share experiences.

Snowman, do you go through meditation on a regular basis. Is it as part of a class or on your own?

Oh god I know how you feel, I used to take Ridilin and even this one time the pediatriction wanted to try the "new" stuff and it depressed me even more. Tired/depressed. (Ugh!) Not to mention that I was a mama's boy and was picked on so very often. On the way to the bus, on the bus, off the bus while walking home. At school too. (Dur)

Things didn't pick up until my freshman year of high school. I beat up one of my old bullies so bad the school police thought I was the agressor. (I was so not!)
Ennnyway - I've met people who wanted to just die and if it wasen't for energy work they would have done it. The thing is endurance. Its gets bad, it gets worse. Better - worse - Great- Terrible - OUTSTANDING. Anyway, keep in the game and do please keep doing the energy work becuase its just so cool in the advanced stages. That and even though it can take superhuman effort to fix things when they are bleak - it is possible to fix them. Seen it from poverty and seen it from the rich and the inbetween.

For what i can see it's alright to be this way actually. You're just seeing the world from a different
perspective and not many other people can see it in the same light as you. The truth is, living by
yourself with no real connections to the world, i mean no one to really connect and talk to is really
hard. But there are people out there, if you can find them, you'll feel like you can relax and be in
harmony with yourself. Though it varies from person to person, some may even be happy just from
virtual connection over the internet.

Now i have no idea how the world has become what it is and i'm not sure where to start but in this
case i'll try to stay relevant. But society essentially tries to put you in line and under control. Once
you've taken a step outside of this and see what it is you were standing in the whole time it becomes
really difficult, especially those bound by everyday life. So for your entire life you've been taught to
goto school, graduate, get a job, work, have a family, retire and live out the rest of your life 'enjoying'
you're coming old age. So for people who have been taught this way, how can they even dare take a
step out of line into the unknown. Everything teaches them about this, but no one has ever taught
people about what it means to go out there and really do what you want.

How many people can actually say they can do anything they want. How many can say they're happy with
their job and how many at the age of 55 says they've retired with some good money and are ready to
travel the world. If thats true then should we see alot more older people traveling the world?
Another thing is, people think most students are happy, but the only time people see students are when
they're outside playing in the parks, hanging out with friends, playing games. The only thing that keeps
them going is the ''supposed' light at the end of the tunnel when they've graduated.

Now don't get me wrong, i'm not saying the world is in a terrible state, it could have been worst. People
are kept from freedom so that there may be order in society. And i'm not telling you to quit school
either, i'm just want you to know that there are other people out there. If you find me in the least bit
helpful then writing all this out would have been worth it. And if you're interested i could give you an
interesting ebook, that'll help you prepare yourself for when you're finally out there so that you may in
future, truly be able to do whatever you like.

Wow, what to say to this???

Life's got its up and downs, you know? Its just like that... one day you feel like you hit rock bottom, then the next you might be on top of the world.

Yea, society basically sucks and there are not that many interesting people to speak too but there are cool people out there and this world is really, really cool. I wouldn't want to die right now, just because the earth is green and alive and she needs us right now; she needs us to shine and eat and breathe and explore and fight and love and be silly humanoids.

You'll gravitate to like-minded people, they might not be inclined to speak about OBE but that doesn't mean that you can't learn from them, or enjoy their company.

About AP.... well when you project you project, you know? You might have a great AP and then not for a few weeks or a few years or ten years or so.... and then BLAM, out of the blue you are through worlds all night. My advice is... don't overtry. Just try. If you go, you go, if not, then not.

My concern is.... why do you sleep so much? Why are you so drained? Is there someone/something draining you, or do ya need to start a workout program and healthy diet?

Good luck and I hope it all works out!

Some sort of exercise program will definitely help, or maybe just chilling outside. It probably feels better when you're dreaming than when you're in the physical world but i'd like to think of being able to interact with the physical world as a privilege. You can always project to the other dimensions from your physical body but no body from the other dimensions can come back to this one.

Sounds like you've got an interesting story of your own Rocky.

If you don't mind i'd like to hear about it.
When you mentioned "people of lesser understanding" I assume you're talking about people who are less dubious about the reality of the world.
I can understand where you're coming from but what i find confusing is when you say
"there isn't much to gain from this realm" and that "we're programmed to see things in this reality to be 'normal'."

Truthfully i don't like the idea of reincarnation at all, for me that is the same not having an after life at all.

The only reason to be here for me is because (of course) otherwise would cause suffering to those who wouldn't understand.
well thats a blunt thing to say that the only attachment you have left of this world is that you don't want people who care about you to suffer.

Many will probably never understand why people like I only live here without actually participating. I'm just 17 and I don't go out with friends - at all.
no one can understand unless you tell them, all they can do is make assumptions, me included so please elaborate.

For spiritual aware people it should be a horror to realize that you get fooled into reincarnating and losing your mind again - and again - and again. But most fool themselves into believing what the deceivers in the astral say --you're hear to learn--
I could never understand why people were always so content with reincarnation, losing the memories of the mind is essentially losing the self. So i'll have to agree with you on that one.

I found out that the roots of this universe are infact so nasty and that it is infact SO far from the truth that it's almost disgusting but at the same time it's liberating to know that this root of creation ( universe and it's illusions ) will soon break down.
The roots of the universe is bad? why is that?

That brings on the interesting question of how existence has come to be, scientist and such will say its the big bang, catholics will say God created the world. But all of that is existence in itself. I like to imagine the beginning as a void of blackness(like space with no stars), blackness representing non-existence because theres no other way to comprehend it. So now i have complete blackness, it is hard to me to believe that even a spec of light can appear out of no where. However if you think about it, for existence to even come into being all you need is anything at all. even a spec of imagination, a spec of abstract, the result of a complex loop or and error of such.

I know that love doesn't originate here and that it is infact such a natural state of being in ALL all other untainted realms.
Many things in this reality are not what they seem and even more bad things are designed that way by intention.
I'm not so sure about this one, i'd like to believe people are full of love but reality is, very few people actually have true love for others, can love be a subject of reason? if you love someone for money, is that considered love? then if you love someone for protection? what about love for family then finally the love to fill in the void of loniness?
Do you lie to the people you love? then why do people lie to people they don't even know, what do i mean by this?
Its the essentiality of social life, wearing makeup is telling people you're prettier than what you actually are, wearing high heels says you're taller with longer legs, wearing black pants to hide the short stature. if you behave differently to different people does that not mean you're lying to them?

And it pains me to know that life is so full of suffering, that so many people are hurt just by being alive. Would it not be much better if people are over joyed just for having an existence.
What i can say is that suffering causes the mind to learn detachment from reality, whilst joy brings people back.

How many people can take a few steps back to see that a small branch is actually a part of a huge tree? How many people can truly say that they're in harmony with themselves.
I don't hate the world or anything, this is just the way it is and i hope there is a better truth to it.

Its true that we are not here to learn but at the same time its not. We came into physical existence because we chose to. Being one with "God" is the greatest experience there is for we are all extensions of "Gods" consciousness but there is more to it. God and all of existence is
with each new thought and act of creation. Through our lives "God" is exploring itself and the infinity of possibilities it holds inside of itself. It does this most effectively by exploring and experiencing everything that it is NOT. By experiencing what you are not you effectively have a method of comparison as well as the opportunity to make a choice in that situation which in turn continues the cycle of expansion. The problem is you can not gain the benefit of this experience if you are "God". That is to say if you already know everything, everything is pretty much pointless. Think of it like watching a movie for the second time, its not as enjoyable as it was the first time when you know what will happen. This is why we forget. We forget we are "God" when we are born in order to benefit from the experience of what we are not. This system creates FREE WILL or the opportunity for it. Its the choices we make in the face of our experiences that is the purpose of our lives. We have come here to chose who we are and eventually we will chose to be one with "God" and after that we need only realize we already are. This is when the cycle of reincarnation ends. That is until you decide to start over again because life can be a wonderful adventure.

lmao its alot of crazy stuff

To artdragondream:
well thats an interesting point, what you're essentially saying is that everything is but apart of a whole and that explains why reincarnation is useful but how is reincarnation any different from death, that is absolute zero existence, for the indivdual. Saying that we're here to learn more about the world, so that God can assimilate that knowledge and then we'll die and be reborn for the same purpose over and over again. Hmmm but then again, what would happen if we had everything we wanted and knew everything, in the end would it be the same as having nothing?

Okay my train of thoughts just went in circles, starting to think the whole system of reincarnation is more perfected than i originally thought, i'll have to spend some time reading about reincarnation.
Essentially, if we've forgotten our memories and are reborn, it would be as if we're different people with no relation to our past lives. More so, for the memories/consiousness that was born within the previous life would not realise the gap between the reincarnation cycle and the end of the cycle, for that single memory of a single lifetime, it would be as if after dying he/she would instantly be at the end of the cycle, when in fact any number of eras could have passed. In the end it would be like the memory life of many people combined into one. hmmm maybe i've been underestimating the theory of reincarnation.

There are more than one theory of reincarnation, it's looked differently by different cultures that embrace it. I happen to think that there is no diff. between reincarnation and dying and not going anywhere for the exact reasons that you stated. But there are other ways to see it- God doesn't express in reincarnated vehicles to learn, it does so to experience. To experience material reality, to me more exact. And some believe that when we die part of us (the soul) lives on in a somewhat subconscious or unconscious way while the spirit goes on to reincarnate. So we don't really lose what we learned, the 'matrix' retains that. What the purpose of this is the question, and many answers to this have been thought up.

Okay my train of thoughts just went in circles, starting to think the whole system of reincarnation is more perfected than i originally thought, i'll have to spend some time reading about reincarnation. At least more complicated than it looks.

Essentially, if we've forgotten our memories and are reborn, it would be as if we're different people with no relation to our past lives. In the end it would be like the memory life of many people combined into one. hmmm maybe i've been underestimating the theory of reincarnation Some people believe that the object of reincarnation is the ultimate reunion of this realized memory with the spirit, that somehow a more 'whole' being is the result and yet another type of existence is what follows.

Of course, this is all theoretical, we have no way of testing it, because even when this is verified by info obtained by the OBE state, there's no way to know that the info isn't influenced by prior belief from the experiencer.

The concept of reincarnation on its own does seem a bit pointless if you look at it from the standpoint that all our memories are completely lost once we are born again into the physical. This is where the higher self AKA our true self comes in. This is the part of us that is the end all be all of our existence in all of our life’s. It is the part of us that remembers everything. And even when we do go on to another life there is a part of us that stays with all the memories of just that previous life. What gets reborn is essentially a copy of us. Robert Bruce has in a way proven this as well through his experiences. When we have an OBE or astral project the part of us that is having this experience is an energy COPY. It is fully aware and has all the memories, personality, and freewill of the original soul or spirit that is still inhabiting your body during this experience. It shows that consciousness and even individuality can be duplicated in these non physical realms. So look at it this way, the soul or spirit of your previous life is still up there enjoying its afterlife but at the same time it is you. There are people who have experienced and even communicated with there past life self’s.

artdragondream,
Yeah, i've read about that in Astral Dynamics and that was the first thought that came to me. The book really does put into terms alot of possiblities, it's amazing. Only problem is, the astral body and the physical body are treated as different beings, two exact clones of memories/consiousness that will think the same thoughts in that situation. But although that astral body can be considered as yourself, it is not actaully you, the memory download allows you to become that astral body. We as we are right now is the physical body, when we die, the physical body dies but the astral body remains, does that mean that we're actually dead, but a clone of us has been created in the astral realm and that to everyone else it would seem that we're still alive in the astral realm when in fact it is a clone.

To Rocky90,
How do wars create energy?
With that many things stopping us from understanding our own reality it's no surprise that after so long it only feels like we've taken the first step. To think that dark spirits can manifest as higher beings, would mean there is a really is an issue of what/who is trustworthy. There would be nothing we can be absolutely sure of anymore. We can either believe nothing and know nothing or we can believe everything and take into account every possibility.

It is CRITICAL to note that there are fraudulent spirits which roots are from darkness, claiming to be deceased ones, higher self, self from past-future etc. Many people are becoming incredibly naive only because they are confronted with disembodied spirits. Dark spirits stop nowhere to deflect, lie, decept, destroy and delude anything that is true stopping nowhere.
I make a point whenever I’m speaking about OBE or the astral to discourage anyone from trying to convince others that there are entities of "evil" intention out there "out to get you." I’m not saying they don’t exist, on the contrary there must be 2 sides to every coin good/evil. But the astral can be tricky in that it will give you exactly what you fear. One of the most important rules to remember before you attempt an OBE is to get over your own issues and fears first. If you fear the possibility of encountering an "Evil" entity the chances of it happening goes up dramatically to become almost a certainty. The RTZ and the astral are realities formed entirely from thought and consciousness and because of this it responds to thought and emotion in dramatic ways. The most successful Astral travelers in the world will tell you that they never encounter any negative entities in there experience because they simply have no fear of them and so don’t think about them. Its as simple as that. So don’t worry about it.

Rocky, I feel you need to let go of some of these negative belief systems you are holding on to because it will come back and bite you some day if your not careful. It only takes one negative experience to prevent you from ever having an OBE again because you will always subconsciously associate it with fear.

Many people want to shield themselves by denying various facts about evil and dramatically lower their awareness of evil. Some even go that far by saying that everything is created out of love and there is no defined evil energy.

Don't delude yourself. Only by facing evil, keeping a constant awareness of it and constantly trying to understanding it one can truly shield it off until the celestial correction process is finalized.
I’m not denying anything although I don’t agree with some things you say, that’s just my opinion. I'm just saying that your setting yourself up for some problems by, like you say "Keeping constant awareness," your becoming a magnet for all these negative energies that you think are out there. By keeping a positive mindset you are essentially raising to higher frequencies of existence in the astral. In the higher frequencies these negative entities you are so afraid of cant enter. When you enter the astral with a fearful mind, with an expectation of conflict where you feel you will need to defend yourself, you are lowering yourself to there level and essentially entering into there world.

You seem to have some radical viewpoints and I don’t know where your coming up with it but I’m just trying to say that in my view its these very viewpoints that will cause you problems. If you hold onto them to tightly when you go out of body you will get EXACTLY what you expect. Because you will have attracted it to you if not created it entirely. Where are you getting all these negative ideas by the way?

Gentlemen, none of you were forced to incarnate!

Do you really believe consciousness works this way?

You not only chose to incarnate, you were EAGER to do so. Yes, it's true. What you need to do is reconnect to the joy within you, the joy that exists within all of us. That is, the joy of spirit. The joy of life. Because all life is a result of love. A love that you know all too well. You have merely forgotten. Please remember this.

I suggest those of you who are dissatisfied with life give up on Astral projection for a few years. You think that world is less complicated than this one? Let me draw a simple diagram.

Some people tend to draw themselves a limited and narrow world view. As a result, they receive only a fraction of the limitless joy that surrounds them. Other individuals allow themselves to be open to the infinite possibilities that exist in this universe. As a result, they are able to experience great joy as they observe and learn of the limitless, boundless joy that exist all around them.

Now, answer me this. And think about this question very carefully: Do you think you have an Open World View, merely because you know about a phenomena called Astral Projection?

Having an Open World View is much more than that. It's believing you can do anything. Anything. Anything. Yes, I mean anything. You can fly. Not out of body, but in body. Yes, it's true. You can levitate. You can move objects with your mind. You can walk through walls. You can see through walls. You can cure diseases. You can multiply your body. You can shapeshift.

Human beings, you see, can do anything. Ah, but so few people believe it. So few.

"The greatest illusion is that mankind has limitations."

Now look, I'm not saying that merely believing in these things will allow you to do them. No, far from it. There are individuals who dedicate their lives to cultivating their body-mind to the point where they are able to do these things. They are great human beings.

Forget about discontent. Forget about protesting. Forgeting about complaining. Forgeting about anger. Forget about anything that limits you. Just understand that you can do anything. Question it, right now. "Can this really be true"? "Can I really do anything?" You see, I myself used to be fascinated with Astral projection. Until I realized the need for cultivation.

Didn't you ever ask yourselves why you were grasping to Astral Projection? Maybe you were grasping to it because you thought that was the only way to overcome a human limitation? No. This is the joy of life: there are better paths. Humans can do anything.

Listen. Astral projection works by catching the part of yourself that exits the body periodically. Daoists call this the "Hun". Normal people can only stabilize their consciousness in this reality for a limited period of time. That's why we need to sleep, so our "Hun" can check out of this reality, into the so-called Astral. The art of astral projection is merely the art of catching the Hun as it regularly goes out, and then becoming aware of it as this process occurs.

This in itself is really not that special! But great masters (like the ones I mentioned earlier that can do anything) don't even need to sleep anymore. Why? Because their Hun is stabilized. Their Hun doesn't need to check out anymore. And as a result, they have complete control over it. They could even put their hand on your head, and give you an instant out of body experience. They have full control over their Hun, and the Hun of others. This ability takes training and dedication to master, but most importantly, the correct training. Don't waste your time doing incorrect training. Train correctly. Fa, Li, Gong. Methods, principles and techniques. Practice the correct method; Fa. Understand the TRUE principles, that is, understand REALITY; Li. This will allow you to execute a technique effectively; Gong.

So, of what am I speaking? Be open to the amazing possibilities around you. Know that you can truly do anything. And know that you are capable of great wisdom, compassion and kindness towards not only your fellow man, but to the Earth and all its creatures. Learn the correct principles, but accept that they exist before you seek them. This is an exciting planet.

The greatest illusion, gentlemen, is that mankind has limitations.

If you don't know your limitations, then you don't know the heights of what you can achieve.
