Default Saw Thor last night!
For about 5 minutes I felt like I was 10 years old again, it was great!

if you read the comic books as a kid, if not you would probably not appreciate it as much.

Did it follow the comic book at all? If so than I can see it being good, the trend as of late though is that Hollywood has fucked up quite a few good comics, which I think is what they're going to do with the Green Lantern by the looks of the previews. If it followed in suit with Iron Man then maybe it'll work out alright.

I saw it last Friday. It was very entertaining. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did.

P.S. I never read that particular comic but it didn't make much difference to me.

It was one of my favorite comics...the previews sure made it look like they got it right.

From what I remember, yes. Excellent portrayal of Loki and the Frost Giants.

I used to like the JLA comics - Batman, Flash, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman. I had two brothers who kept a constant stream of comics coming.

Thor is definitely worth seeing on a big screen. I wondered about it when I saw Kenneth Branagh directed it because I associate him with Shakespeare, but that background sort of fits with the mythology. The guy who plays Thor was really good and very funny. Gotta love a big hunky guy who doesn't take himself too seriously.
