Yeah really. The Cousin I went duck hunting with got a good scare. He went off to pee behind our spot and a duck came flying in front of our spot. So I took a shot at him (again ... my cuz is behind me quite a ways ... duck is in front of me) and I guess it made him jump pretty good.

...... missed the duck too

Hey!

So, I am going to be going turkey hunting for the first time ever and I was just curious if anyone had ever done it?

Any suggests? Tips? Advice?
Hose yourself down with tick repellant. Those little bastards will infest you and carry some nasty pathogens. I avoid the woods until the frost in on the punkin' myself.

One big reason why if I hunt nowadays, I do it on my own property.

Jeeze! Even though I am a beginner hunter ... I know how important it is to CONFIRM what it is I am shooting at!

In the kitchen making you a sammich and getting you a beer?

I am, but I can multi-task--I'm a woman.
