Dogs are "worth" whatever price fools are willing to pay for them. Notice the quotation marks around worth....
No different than the "designer dog breed" fad - oodles and doodles are nothing but mutts but since they are popular and rich morons will pay tons of money to carry one around in their purse the people breeding the mutts make big bucks. Doesn't mean the dog is really worthy of that monetary value, just means that is the standard of what people are willing to pay for that dog in general. |

There is no dog worth that much money. In my area you can buy ambullies, triple registered, that are not as ugly as many, for 800 bucks or less. Some free with papers off craiglist.
Heck, there are pitterstaffs that come in blue that are from health tested, titled parents, where the breeders stand behind them, for 1000 or less. Also, if you want an overdone, short bulldog faced dog, look into olde bulldoggies or english bulldogs, At least they are what they are and if you do breed them,can find them good homes versus a dog called a pit bull that looks like FREAK> |
