Well, I guess I should be glad that my dogs' feet don't smell like Fritos.. if that means excess yeast!

I can tell my dogs apart by scent, too

well i know her feet aren't infected or moist or anything i don't think it bothers her at all if that's what you mean, if it's yeast it just lives on her and isn't bothering her, cause her pads and paws are definitely fine and free of any redness or infection, she doesn't lick her feet or bother at them at all, her coat is really watery and it protects against water pretty well so when she gets wet she dries off real fast.

Unless you're saying it could be because their is something wrong in her diet? she seems to be doing real well on what she's on she eats instinct kibble and instinct raw food
that should say her coat is wiry not watery?

i beleive that yeast is normal to be present on on pretty much everything foods, fruits, insects, ocean critters, mammals, and humans..pretty much every where. its normal and only becomes a problem when it is in abundance and becomes an infection.

i really wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a problem for the dog. diet can help (not necissarly kibble being bad) removing sugary items (some dog foods can contain sugars) carbohydrates can cause more yeast to grow.

My wife loves to smell her Jack Russel/Dachshund mix's feet. Swears they smell like fritos.

I've heard a lot of people say their dogs feet smell like Fritos! I guess I need to get a bag of Fritos and test this theory out?! LOL

But yes, you're a weirdo.

Which means you fit RIGHT IN.

I can't stand to smell My dogs feet right now. Maybe when I am not pregnant i'll try it again LOL! Snow sticks her feet in my face all the time in bed. But I'd rather feet then her butt.
