I would be willing to bet she's part australian shepherd... those are probably the most common merle dogs. Deff not pure bred though. Merle is a serious fault in apbt's & american bullies. Just look up the UKC or ABKC standards for them, that should help you a good bit!

Possible catahoula cross but no not "pure"

This. I've NEVER seen an Aussie here.. but we have plenty of houlas. It all depends on where you are. To the OP - If your dog is a rescue, there's no way of knowing WHAT she is http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png |
new pit puppy! merle coat. trying to find out if shes mixed with another breed or not
hey everyone so i rescued this girl a few months back and couldnt be happier. shes the best dog ive had so far, very calm but alert. a big goofball. ive tried activities with her such as walking, running, fetch interaction with other dogs. but she doesnt seem interested in any of them. what can i do to get her more interested in activites to bring our bond closer.
my second question is she looks pit to me, then again im not a profesional and to me im not really all that worried about looks..however when i started looking into activites certain dogs are more prone to being better retrievers or hunters, search and rescue etc. any opinions on what my pup trixie may be mixed with if anything at all? thanks alot |
Can you post pictures please?

If she is merle then she is a mutt and there is no way to tell her breed if shes a rescue.
Having merle in there though she is defiantly not pure bred. |
