LOL...So my girlfriend was taking care of my staffie while I was sick (walking her,taking her for a car ride,ect) and came in panicked that Athena "had a hairball" she couldnt cough up (what do you expect from a cat person? lol)....
For those of you who dont know,this is called "a reverse sneeze"...They are very easy to fix...simply place you hand over the dogs nose for a second and the dog will stop "sneezing" |

My Boston terrier does it ALL the time... I don't do anything about it. Another Boston terrier I used to know would get frantic and rub the dog's throat ![]() |

I wouldn't put my hand over their nose. The dog will get out of it itself without any assistance. If I just call my dog's name, he'll stop and look at me and stop doing it. But I definitely wouldn't be covering his nose since that's how he breathing. |
