really neat you adopted her!
im dealing with the same situation right now, found out hte awsome breeders i got my dog from, are not so awsome afterall. they offerd me cesars mom for free. shes 3 years old and has had a total of 6 litters
shes such a little doll but super clingy to me. cries her heart out if i go to the bathroom without her. HAS to be in my face and on my lap, if she sees me even shift she gets all excited and comes over to be petted.
poor girl. im trying to not give into her clingy-ness as i dont want to encourage this behavior and cause her to have seperation anxiety (too late) or become possessive over me towards cesar or my cats or my bf 9which shes already tried)

This thread is sooooooooo old!!! And Dixie isn't even called Dixie anymore, I ended up adopting her and named her Takoda and I guess this was her gotcha day!

Thank you! I thought I was losing my mind!!

I was like "Wait a minute!! What happened to Takoda"??? Then I was like, "Hmmm...THAT looks an awful lot LIKE Takoda..."

Then I looked at the date and was like "Oh phew, alls well...THAT is Takoda".I wish people wouldn't make me think so hard this early in the morning!

I've got THREE like that. Well,Nick not so much, only because he's too lazy.
They have nicknames, Speed Bump, Traffic Jam, and Road Block, because they are ALWAYS blocking the way.

Many times, I've come out of the shower to find a dog on the bathroom rug, waiting for me.

I had to literally pull Deisel out my pocket at times,lol but now that we got a foster he dont even bother with me.Till last nite we had a crazy thunderstorm and he busted the bathroom door wide open while i was using it.Talk about being assed out! lmao

Yeah ... I get a lot of gross tennis balls dropped into my underwear by my visiting friend! LOL Otherwise, she pushes the door open to check on me and be sure I haven't escaped out of any secret exits!
