Prayers needed.
My parent's 17 year old dachshund, Bobbi Jo, was mauled by a pack of stray dogs who got into our fenced property today. She was torn up pretty badly.
She was in surgery for more than three hours. She was waking up from the anethesia when the tech called me at around 6:30 tonight. If she survives the night, her chances of recovering completely will be higher. Bobbi is a tough old broad. She's been a member of our family for almost ten years. I don't want her to die. Please, just pray for her, send good vibes, think good thoughts...... Sent from my LG-VS700 using Tapatalk 2 |
Prayers sent. Hope Bobbi pulls through.

I will pray for her. Dachshunds can be tough little monsters, I think she will have enough fight in her to pull through! My mom had a dachshund that tried to take on a GSD once, tore her stomach open, but she had surgery and was back terrorizing the neighborhood in no time.

I am hoping she makes it outta this!

Prayers sent...
Got your stray dog gun out yet? |
She will be in our thoughts here.

Bobbi is still kicking this morning. In a lot of pain, but she ate a whole can of food!

Lots of prayers for her recovery. The fact that she ate is such a good sign. Keep up posted. What a horrible thing to go through at her age.

Excellent news to hear she is eating the day after surgery! Prayers for a speedy recovery!

Out of curiosity, how do a pack of loose dogs get into a fenced property? Fences are supposed to keep dogs out as much as in.
|
Sorry to hear this happened... I hope she recovers fully. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png

glad to hear she is ALIVE and EATING! Please continue the updates.

She seems more comfortable this afternoon. She looks like Frankenstein, but so long as we can keep infection out, she should be on her way to better.
Athiest, I'm assuming they either went over, under, or through. I don't knmow if my parents have walked the fenceline yet (I hope they have kept the other dogs leashed when out if they haven't...) but I will be checking the fence all around the property when I get home.
