Do your Pet Loves Travel?

Just curious about how the pets react to travel. Well I have Labrador and he just love to travel actually when ever we plan to go some place he is the first one standing near car to get in. he just loves to see new places. what do you think does your pet love traveling.

First time we ever traveled with Trigger it was a 500 mile trip to Georgia and he did very well and enjoyed it.

My dog loves the destination, she isn't too crazy though about the travel part. She does really good, but she does get car sick if we are going through the mountains and stuff like that, and she gets over the car ride pretty fast.

Aston loves getting the wind in his face. He will go back and forth from one side of the car to the other just out of curiosity to see what one side of the road has that the other doesnt!

of my 3 dogs only 1 HATES it but she was in a car accident with my many yrs ago.
the other to love to go bye byes

AndyColemants 04-05-2012 04:38 PM

Yep, They all LOVE going "buhbye". Ears perk up, tails start going, little feet tap dancing on the floor...

Mikey gets in the truck and goes to sleep, Gunner sleeps or watches the road. Sprocket hangs his head out the window and smells the 60 mph air http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/smile.png

They don't care where they get to go. Sometimes I take them around the block on test drives when we change oil or wash the car and need to dry it. LOL

my staffie wants to drive the car!!

wrardymar 04-05-2012 04:43 PM

haha Peyton is the same way, we take him "bye bye in the car!" when we go pick up pizza or something, just because the dang dog loves to go for a ride.

All of our dogs love to go in the car. The first purchase we made after getting our car was a dog gate to keep them in the back of the car :-)

My bully is wonderful in the car. Calm, quiet, sight-seeing, head out the window, etc. My 2 pugs are a huge pain in the ass in the car. Nervous, panting, shedding, never relaxing.

Joker goes everywhere with us. in fact, he is with my hubby right now, to take one of our kiddos to school. Lola, our Aust. Shep/Lab loves to go on car rides also. Our ST. Bernard/mix could care less.

Tue and Kahlee absolutley love to travel. Short trips or long. Krayon on the other hand doesn't really care to. Once he is in the car, he just lays down and tries to act like he isn't in there.

Kahlee loves it. She can't stay still in the car. Going from window to window to see what all is going by.

Tue loves it with all her heart. She hangs her head out the window and all. She gets super happy and wiggly when some says, "lets go for a ride".

Azull loved it too. He loved it cause almost every time we got in the car, we were taking him swimming. That was his favorite thing to do so of course he wanting to get in the car.

Tue will get in the car if I have the door open and cleaning out my cars. She will jump in the hatch of the SUV and has even jumped in the trunk of my car to go for a ride. She didn't ride back there, but she thought that was were I was putting her....... lol

Willow loves to travel as long as she is in the front seat on my lap, Raj hates to travel...he sits int he backseat and barks non stop right in my ear...so we don't take him in the car much.

bashansasasasa 04-05-2012 08:20 PM

Boo loooooves "go byebye carride"!

she has even learned to hit the roof of the car with her head and give me "the look" and I will pop the top off. lol

**note here, I have a teather ring welded behind the seat to attach her harness to. She is safe

She makes wookie noises at drive throughs, and is just a joy to travel with. She will sneak and jump in the car every chance she gets, even into the trunk. I detail my interior about every week (crazy car person here) and if I leave the doors open she is in there.

She loves travel, loves visiting, has even stayed in a hotel and was just as thrilled as can be!

My dog loves it an I take him everywhere with me. Just me picking up the explorer sport trac keys gets him excited. And me saying "Tiger Ride" is the icing on the cake for him. He even knows the difference in the sound of the jingle between that set of keys versus the set for my other cars and if I am taking him with me I always take the sport trac.

My old man Conner spent the first 5 years of his life traveling from one dog show to another. While he loved the shows and being in the ring, he absolutely hated traveling in the car. If we were taking him anywhere it was a task to convince him he really wanted to get into the car and the crate.

Now, Harely and Jake both love to travel and are always the first two in the car to go. I think they just like to ride in the car. It doesn't matter if we are heading somewhere or leaving somewhere, they are just ready to go.

Do people really still say "Go byebye" to their dogs? http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/lol.gif

My dogs love going places! If I start walking in the general direction of my truck, they all flock to it lol

I not only say "gobyebyecarride" But I do it in a squeeky highpitched voice and then answer "oh hellz yez naked monkey" for BooBoo because she has not quite mastered speech yet. and then I will say "yooouuuu doooooooo??" in a hootie super annoying voice... (this starts her making insane rabid wookie noises) and then throw my arms up in the air and scream "OHHHH MAAAHHH GGAAAWWWWDDDD WEEEE GOO BYEBYECARRIDE!!!!" and bust out the front door.

She goes ballistic, shit-fuck crazy, zooms around the outside of the house a bunch of times and is a little worn down so I can get the travel harness on her spazzy body.

yes, I am one of those people. My son hates me.

That.Is. Hilarious!! Video tape and share PLEASE.

All my dogs know the "R" word. (ride in case you're dense http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/tongue.png) And will do their happy, bouncy, twirly food/car ride/for no apparent reason dance. They don't even care if we actually go anywhere.
