I have been soooooo lucky with Ruby! I was worried during the first week we had her and went next door for a Christmas party - and she ate the garage. But that was it! However, we have allowed her to scratch at the door to go out (I was just so happy she asked!) - now our back door on both sides has been scratched down to bare wood up to about a foot and a half high and 3-4 inches wide. I want to fix that but will probably glue a piece of Lucite back on top of that area after we sand and paint the door. What's almost worse is the complete 'dotting' of dirty ball prints over every wall from playing ball in the house! Yuk. I'm just ignoring that for the time being....

Well, having a dozen dogs and as many as 20 at one point I have a long list...

Vinyl siding on the carport
Door facing in my bed room
Tile in the dinning room
Water spicket and countless water hoses and sprayers
2 Storm Doors
1 Window screen
Cannot even count what I have had to paint
I have to re-do my hardwood floors every few years because the dogs nails scratch them
Carpet in the dog room was replace with tile
Tile in the Dog room was replaced with a better grade of tile ...lol

As far as items destroyed ...
2 Cell phones
A Coach handbag
Countless throw pillows
An very beautiful cherry table
2 Patio sets
1 picnic table
5 or 6 pair of house shoes a year
A couple of remotes
A few PS2 controllers
A headboard
1 recliner
and the neighbors cat

so far just the puppy gate, which was already chewed and and missing some of the plastic barrier part but Luna finished it off so we bought a new one, and my Adidas slip on sandals. Little brat someone got them out of the chair and chewed them up!

We need to repair the door frame from the family room into the living room. Nicks head is harder than the wall when he missed the door opening he knocked off some drywall and dented the wall. That's about it tho... drool on the windows, hair everywhere.
Oh, there is a dark streak down the wall in the hallway where Nick likes to rub. We clean it, but he rubs again and it turns dark again...maybe we should just paint it kinda a dirt color so we can't see it.

I had to get a new bed room door because Piper scratched it up really bad and also she figured out if she jumped and hit it with her paws hard enough that she would punch a hole in the door and then she would always want to chew at the holes and make them bigger.

violet has ate a couch, ripped up carpet in the corner of my moms front room, chew and ruined the sides of the leather on a dining room set and when she was a puppy gnawed on a leg of a antique coffee table

I was just looking at an old wood coffee table my dad gave me back when I first moved here. It has 3 corners chewed from various pups that have come here over the last 8 years since I got it. I am not replacing it. It's kind of sentimental. A reminder of Rico (RIP), Ike, Owen, Renee, and some friends dogs puppyhoods.

Wow! There are some "impressive" lists indeed! For me, I'd have to say the worst was Dillinger, the choc lab/pit. His first week home, he heavily snacked on two door frames (my bedroom and the front hall bathroom) he tore up tiles in the kitchen and shredded a few of my paintings and the worst? He. Ate. A. Hole. Through. My. Bed. Lol That was fun.
And my Desmond the Menace chewed thru more harnesses than I can recall, chewed holes thru his water canteens, few leashes, several books (my fault for leaving them out!)
And he pulled apart his metal crate. It made my teeth hurt when I saw this.
He's also a digger, so I've got tons of holes in the yard to fill once it gets warmer. I think he's either looking for gold, soil dwelling mammals, or a tunnel to China.
Alright. It's a little longer than I had thought. Lol

Does me busting down my bedroom door, well not completely, but breaking the door knob because it got stuck so I could get in there and rescue Brennan count? Other than that, the only thing he has destroyed is two flip flops, two leashes, and half a towel.

Wow, TigerDog.
The house was a rental, needless to say I didn't get my damage deposit back.

He bloodied his mouth on Valentine's Day on chewing through the bars of his crate and managed to bust out and wreak havoc on the entire house. That was while he was on Amitriptyline for the separation anxiety. It was those two incidences that made me realize that after two years of desensitizing and medication that it might be kindest to put him down.

Seriously!

Other than a remote (which didn't have to be replaced and he waited until he was 2 to do...) only some 409 to get his blood lines from his tail off the walls and cabinets, and the wall where he eats has food all over it........I have to clean up more from my cats than I do from my dog, hair, hair balls, etc.

Let's see...

Vinyl siding from the side of the house
Insulation dug through
drywall chewed a hole through it

^Brutus did this when he literally chewed his way from the outside of the house into my bedroom.

broken dishes
handle off the fridge door
chewed up carpet
chewed up laminate
numerous door frames pulled off the wall
door knobs taken off
my mattress was chewed literally in half

^He did all this when I had been alone on Valentine's Day since my SO was at Basic Training and I cried for 20 mins when I walked in and saw what had happened.

Ginger is pretty good but clutzy so we had to replace the screen door after she tried to run through it a few too many times...Also, at my last rental she gnawed on the door frame to the door leading to our yard, I swear she was after termites as she never did that to anything else.
