It's not like that it's only if they prove your dog is pit n not Falstaff. By the way I don't breed. No one patrols for APBT. They still go to beach park vets none of mine have been put down thats just the law there are thousands of pits here living happy lives. Most people think there amstaffs. The people who have them have to be more reasonable cause of the law

I live in Australia.
What part do you live in? I don't know if I'd risk owning a Pitbull were it's illegal. Its just not worth loosing your dog if some person decided to be a jerk and tells the right person about your illegal dog. I don't own a Pitbull myself and unless I move from were I live, I'll only own AmStaffs. |

I live in Australia too, I, myself own a pitbull and would never look back.. They shouldn't be illegal here, beautiful loyal dogs. But sadly they are and there's nothing we can do about it

I defiantly don't think they should be banned, Pitbulls are wonderful, amazing dogs.
I thought Pitbulls were legal in NSW. When did that change? In parts of NSW, is it still legal? I can't wait to own a Bull breed one day but as life has turned out for me, I can't own one at the moment unless I get rid of one of my two current dogs which I don't want to do. I'm happy with my two so it doesn't bother me. |

Queensland I no of 5 hobby breeders on the coast alone then u have them carirnes, Ipswich, sunny coast, north coast gold coast. U often see them out n about with there owners they only breed a few times not like puppy farms. Any way we all love our dogs wether u can understand it's very unfair for a great breed.

A while ago I found the association but they can't do much cause of restricted breed I think there in Victoria if there still going I no there on google when I last spoke to them hardly any members no newsletter or meetings maybe they do now. In Queensland we had a day out every month atleast 150 dogs ,weight pull show for those with ADBA pappers it was great. Concourse before the new laws come in. Anyway maybe us ausie should go google it I am
