Default Serenity's shelter?
We finally put some shelter up for Serenity before I left to see my dad. My step-dad set it up.

I was wondering if the shelter that was put up was alright or can anything be fixed to make it better?.

Thanks.

She's on a zipline. It's designed so it can't tangle, she's been fine on it so far thankfully.

It'a summer here now so yes, it can get quite hot at times. There is a big tree above the tarp, it gives off A LOT of shade so she has shade all day. She also has a shell pool that's kept in the shade.

Looks just fine to me. You should see what Snow has to live with until spring.

How is it summer in January? Why are you asking us? Just ask Serenity how she likes it and what she would like changed. Get back to us and tell us what she said

Um, did you forget, not everyone on this forum lives in the country you live in. Duh. Our Seasons are different so it's Summer here. God I wish it wasn't but it is.

Well yeah I figured it was warm, but isn't Jan winter no matter where you are? Or does winter come in different months where you are? Seriously. I"m not a geography expert.

Winter comes in different months for us. Winter here for us is June, July and August. I was shocked at first that we have different seasons but it makes sense to why that happens.

I'm personally a fan of "S" houses where the dog can go behind a wall and curl up, being completely out of contact with the elements. It looks like an okay dog house but there would be a serious draft of cold air running through it all winter, so the dog would only partially be sheltered.

If I remember correctly, Tahlz lives in Australia. Next hemisphere over. Their seasons are the exact opposite of ours due to the tilt of the earth. We are tilted away from the sun this time of year and they are tilted toward.

Tahlz, is that raised bed ripped? It looks saggy. If you aren't going to fix it right away, I'd just remove it and toss it in the trash or store it elsewhere until it can be repaired. And the water in the pool looks very dirty.

if your winters there are as cold as ours, i suggest you redo that dog house with a lip so you can put straw in there. id also toss that cable chain unless you dont mind changing it out every 6 months.

I would be worried that she will tangle her line around the dog house.

MJJean; the bed cover is being replaced today. Serenity ripped it while I was at my dads for a week and a half. When I came home, she had ripped it. I bought a replacement cover today.

The pool; yes, it got very dirty while I was gone. The old water is being tipped out today and re-filled today.

Thanks everyone. They have some really nice dog kennels that some of you guys have suggested. I plan on buying her one in a few weeks.

And the cable; I am going to buy a new one/a chain soon enough. At the moment it's still good.

I guess you didn't read my post. We never bought one. Ours was homemade. There's a thread around here about how to make one.

I did read your post. The one I was going to buy is just like the one's you've mentioned. I've also seen Muttkips shelter she has for Beau, is that the thread your referring to?.

If my step-dad will make it for me, I'll do it that way. He should.

First of all I don't make a list of where every member on here lives. How the hell am I supposed to know she's in Australia? Second of all I clearly said I don't know jack about geography. You know, kinda like you don't know jack about American Pit Bull Terriers. We all have our specialties and the dogs happens to be mine
