Default can someone give me some advice plz??
ive been looking for a nice blue tri female, iv been looking for a few weeks and hadnt found anything i was too happy with for a decent price. then i found an upcoming breeding with two tri dogs that i thought both looked good, they have both dogs, along with the pups pedigree posted but unfortunetly i have no idea how to understand it or to tell if its good or bad. so i was wondering if someone could take a look at it and let me know how it looks?? heres the link to the pups ***Link Removed*** its the first pedigree that it shows between menage and roscoe.

I don't see any titles on either of those dogs and IMO, they don't look terribly sound

What kind of dog are you looking for?

Those dogs look like they're going to come with a host of joint and arthritic problems, along with short life spans. There's nothing wrong with well-built American Bullies like moderator Pink's dogs, but those dogs on that website just don't look healthy at all.

I would stay away.

A perfect place to start is to PM Shon, Vicki, or Cynthia for access to our AmBully section. Also, they are not a style of pit bull. There is only one pit bull, the American Pit Bull Terrier. An American Bully is a different breed.

Yep what you're looking for is an Am. Bully.
Can I ask why you want an Am. Bully instead of a APBT or Am. Staff? I personally hope to own a well bred APBT AND a well bred Am. Bully someday... so I'm not against them just wondering why Am. Bully?
And why you're looking for a specific color instead of looking for a sound well tempered dog that is "bomb proof" in any color?

---------- Post added at 04:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:40 PM ----------

and on a side note... i wouldn't ever buy a dog from those people, none of those dogs are the least bit appealing.

"They are making deals" LOL. Here's a clue, if you think those dogs are APBT, you shouldn't be giving anyone your money, you are just going to get ripped off. Clue #2, if you look at those dogs and think they should be having puppies, you have no idea how to judge a dog. Even someone who knows next to nothing about structure should be able to tell those dogs are all fucked up. Picking a dog based on cheapness or color is dumb and you don't even know what breed you are after. The reality is probably 99% of Ambully and APBT breeders are crap, they don't health test, they don't show, they don't work or title their dogs in anything, Ambullies especially charge a fortune and the dogs are in no way worth it. You can get the same quality dog out of a shelter. If you want a nice quality dog, you need to go to shows, meet and talk to people, do your research. Don't pay some fool like that breeder $600 for a worthless mutt that's going to cost you thousands in vet bills when it falls apart.

the reason i want an am.bully is because i already have an APBT and hes great, my brothers got an am.staff and hes a great dog too and now id just like to check out an am.bully. i do want a sound well tempered dog thats got a healthy background and good quality bloodline, i just have a preference on the color. and im not just looking for a cheap dog, i just cant afford to spend $2500 on purchasing a dog alone.

---------- Post added at 02:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:42 AM ----------

so if anyone can help me out and point me in the right direction for a good am.bully breeder i would appriciate it, i havent heard back from shon on my PM yet so i havent been able to go to that forum.

If you want a GOOD dog (and not one of those gargoyles I saw in the link), it'll take more than a few weeks, and may cost you more than a few hundred bucks.

Look for some ABKC shows in your area. Go there, meet people, and meet the dogs. It may take awhile, but eventually you could find a decent dog.

I have been looking for a good Am Bully breeder to just talk with in my general area... No dice! Still looking for someone that I'm impressed with. Go look at Pinks dog Torque just do a search on here for him... AMAZING Bully! I wouldn't look for anything but a classic style... The pockets and extremes are just ridiculous and sad.

You can find a good bully for that price or less if you find the right breeder who isn't jacking up prices for color and size.

No, again those are hippos in my opinion. Now if thats the style you want and you don't care if the dog is proven then sure that dog would be fine. Bullies in the classic style are more influenced by the Am Staff. They will still be thick and very muscular with a blocky head but much more capable of weight pull and show titles and other sports than those dogs. And with a good breeder they will have A LOT less health issue especially in the joints.

Did you search for Torque on here? I think Kamdon has two Classic style bullies too... One for sure! His dogs are Krayon and.. Kahilee (sp?)

i just took a look at him, he looks reallly good! super ripped, thats what im looking for haha. he looks alot like my brothers am.staff, ruger. rugers not quite as cut and built but he doesnt pull weights or anything, but still same basic style. i didnt know am.bullys were suppose to look like that, all the pics i find on google are the 15in tall super wide bulky dogs with huge frames so thats what i thought i was looking for. really dont know too much about the breed but im glad im learning now. where can i find good breeders online with torque type am.bullys? i wouldnt mind if the dog was a little bulkier but thats not a necesity, especially not if that means sacrificing the dogs health.

---------- Post added at 05:23 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:15 AM ----------

after looking at pics online, im actually starting to think my brother has an am.bully, he looks alot more like torque than any of the am.staff pics im seeing on google. i got my bros dog from a friend for 100 bucks, wish i could find another deal like that cuz hes an awesome dog! ill post pics to show later on.

Your best bet is going to shows. Not every breeder has a website, and the good ones usually don't!

The Am Bully world is a mess, and you'll find more genetically unsound hippos than anything. If you really want a healthy, good dog it's going to take a lot of research and work to find!
